Surprising Salt Lake!

I'll be honest, folks.

I wasn't sure at first how Salt Lake City would take to a little fellow like me. As it turns out, we get along just fine!

One of my favorite things to do in Salt Lake, especially after these last few months in Seattle, is ride around on the light rail. As you can see James modeling here, the transportation in this town is actually easy to manage--and fun, too!



James and Jennifer dragged me all over town: a couple different neighborhoods, some cool parks, up to the Capitol building (as seen in the distance from the West High School front steps)...



...and down to Temple Square. That's James, waiting for the train again, this time checking out the job possibilities in the shadows of the Mormon Monuments.



After all that, we headed back for some pool time at the Holiday Inn and some planning for the next steps in our adventure.
