The ghost of Elvis and then some...

Grab yer blue suade shoes, folks, we're heading to Graceland!

Actually, not exactly to Graceland, but we stood outside and marveled and the Elvis-ness of it all.

Not only did we chill outside the gates of Graceland, hoping to catch glimpses of Elvis' ghost slipping through the trees, but we also stayed less than a half mile away at the 'Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park'... It was, um, charming? Now, I'm a pretty tough little gnome, but this whole place looked like the set for a bad horror movie and I decided to stay in the car and let the tall ones sacrifice themselves to the charms of tent living on one of the sketchiest gravel lots in TN while I got some real sleep.

After making it through the night, the three of us headed into to Downtown Memphis to catch some of the sights, play a few guitars, and spend the night playing on Beale Street.

The trip through the Gibson factory was a definite highlight, and definitely got us in the mood for even more music at our next stop... Nashville!
