San Sebastian
Dad had so much fun on the bus, that we decided to try a different one...
This time to San Sebastian, another city on the sea.
Unlike Bilbao, which shares its passion for bridges across rivers, San Sebastian actually is right on the open water of the Bay of Bizcay.
Apparently, the sea air makes people kinda frisky.
In addition to couples making out everywhere, San Sebastian also has an impressive older part of the city right above the harbor.
After wandering endlessly (See, James, you're aren't the only one who gets hassled by the Road Warriors...Dad gets it, too!), we wandered into a small little bar for some pintxos, some fried calamari and some (we think) ETA sympathizers. We were yelled at for trying to take pictures. That's not new to us. I think they're just jealous. (Of what, I'm still not sure, but that's got to be it, right?)
And then to the beach!
We were enjoying the sunshine, taking more pictures, and then...
I know it doesn't look like it, but it was pouring! All the way back to the bus station, where we all sat like wet poopies, all the way home.
You might think that would be enough of the busrides for us...
